Digital transformation is an irreversible trend.
2020 was a year of great turmoil, and the clearest evidence of this was the “reluctant” push named COVID-19. This once-in-a-century push delivered a “punch” that awakened Vietnamese businesses after a long period of struggling to decide whether or not to digitize their operations. And while we were still hesitating, the era provided a definitive answer – digital transformation or death?
The question is, what does digital transformation bring to businesses? Perhaps the mass media has explained it extensively, but to put it in one sentence, the ultimate goal is still to improve labor productivity for businesses.
History has proven that, regardless of the form, the essence of industrial revolutions is to increase labor productivity, and Industry 4.0 is no exception. When talking about Industry 4.0, people think of data, and to master data, there is no other way than to digitize it. In other words, the essence of Industry 4.0 is digital transformation.
According to forecasts from the Department of Informatization, without digital transformation, average labor productivity in the coming years will only increase by about 5-6%. However, by applying digital transformation, we can increase productivity up to 10%, and even potentially escape the middle-income trap. According to another report by Data61 (Australia), if digital transformation is successful, Vietnam’s GDP will increase by approximately $162 billion over the next 20 years. And an annual GDP growth of 1.1% is the sweet fruit that digital transformation can bring to the economy, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications. It is clear that digital transformation is a golden opportunity to improve labor productivity and the economic scale for Vietnam. Currently, Vietnam’s national competitiveness ranks 77th in the world and 6th in ASEAN. However, if we make good use of digital transformation, we will have the opportunity to rise to the Top 3 or Top 4 positions in the ASEAN region in the near future.
Why should businesses connect with 1Office software soon?
According to a survey of over 2,500 businesses using 1Office, on average, a business saves 1 sheet of paper every 5 days thanks to data digitization. Each employee increases their work efficiency by 10-15% and saves 15 minutes of work per day. These figures show that technology can change the face of the entire economy. Furthermore, digital transformation will be the key to helping businesses increase labor productivity and make data transparent to support reporting and performance evaluation within the company.
Witnessing the reality of our valuable data resources being used by foreign entities every day, every hour, for which we even have to pay them. This is a constant source of concern for the leadership and staff of 1Office.
After 5 years of development and growth, 1Office has now become a strategic solution trusted by over 2,500 businesses and more than 150,000 customers across Vietnam. With a team of engineers with over 10 years of experience in the digital technology field, a team of expert consultants from world-leading universities (Harvard, Stanford), and modern infrastructure located at Vietnam’s largest network operators (FPT & VNPT), 1Office provides Vietnamese businesses with a purely Vietnamese management system, serving as a launchpad to help businesses improve labor productivity and work efficiency. Notably, more than just software, 1Office provides an entire online work ecosystem, turning the business into both a workplace and a place for connection and sharing among people.
Mr. Le Viet Thang – Founder of the 1Office platform
Mr. Le Viet Thang – Founder of the 1Office total business management solution, also expressed his desire for the Government’s help in spreading 1Office to more businesses by encouraging provinces and cities to purchase software from tech startups in general, and 1Office in particular, for application in businesses, especially newly established ones and those that contribute significantly to the state budget, as a support policy.
Especially in the context of the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, equipping businesses with a support tool will be excellent leverage to help them stand firm and weather the storm. Most importantly, Vietnamese businesses will now have a purely Vietnamese technology solution that understands and serves the interests of the Vietnamese people, and we will no longer have to worry about data loss.
With 1Office, the Government directly creates opportunities for businesses to experience digital transformation. This promotes the National Digital Transformation Program in a more practical and effective direction. Not only that, but reports on businesses also allow the Government to make more sound policy decisions. In the near future, 1Office will soon integrate with e-government platforms to support tax management, customs declarations, and more, thereby saving time and minimizing the cost burden on the state budget.
