Beers with Many “Bitter” Notes

Dai Viet Beer is a brand of Huong Sen Group – a corporation that did not start in the beer and alcohol industry. Huong Sen’s origins lie in the textile industry, established in the early years after the Reunification. In 1997, Huong Sen made a bold investment decision: to establish the Dai Viet brewery. In the late 20th century, when foreign beers were not yet common, the market was dominated by state-owned beer companies and some home-brewed products. Facing countless disadvantages, the beer’s bitterness also embodied the hardships Dai Viet had to endure during its development, but this bitterness was the taste of success.

The Purity Law from Germany

In 1516, Duke Wilhelm IV of Bavaria (Germany) enacted the Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot), which prohibited all forms of chemical additives in beer. This spirit has been upheld to this day and is the foundation of the reputation of Bavaria (Germany) as a beer country. With production lines, technology, and the spirit of the German Purity Law, Dai Viet brings consumers the purest and highest quality beer. Dai Viet’s German-flavored products range from traditional lager, rich dark beer, to premium red beer,… Dai Viet also continues to learn and import the latest technologies from Germany to upgrade its products and launch new ones to serve consumers.
