[1OFFICE] PERIODIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF FEATURE UPGRADES – SEPTEMBER 2024
Dear valued customers,
In September 2024, the 1Office Product Development team has upgraded the following features
1. Projects
Upgrade: Added data widgets to the Projects module
Purpose
To help users monitor project status more visually and easily
Change Details
On the Project details screen, new data widgets have been added to display the total number of tasks, overdue tasks, in-progress tasks, completed tasks, and tasks pending review.
2. Tasks
2.1. Upgraded Kanban view for tasks
Purpose
Added an expand/collapse feature for columns in the Kanban view to reduce clutter and help users focus when viewing task data
2.2. Added “Group tasks by project” feature
Purpose
Grouping tasks by project provides a comprehensive overview of work within a project, helping users manage more effectively without needing to search for parent task information or related projects.
Change Details:
Replaced the parent task view with “Group by project,” allowing users to easily track parent tasks along with the projects they belong to. This prevents the issue of only seeing the parent task without knowing the associated project.
2.3. Changed the position of “Show entries” and pagination for all objects
Purpose
To optimize display space for important actions on the right side of the screen, improving the user experience and making it easier to access and use.
3. “Settings” function
Upgrade: Changed the position of the “Settings” function in all modules
Purpose
To allow users to configure settings for any specific object
Change Details
In all modules, when a user clicks on an object, the “Settings” function will now appear on the right side of the toolbar.
4. “Quick Filter” feature
Upgrade: Added a “Quick Filter” feature to Process task groups within the Tasks, Projects, Processes, and HR modules.
Purpose
To help users optimize data searching and easily track process lists based on specific conditions and requirements.
Change Details
In the “Process” object, a “Quick Filter” function has been added
5. System Settings screen
Upgrade: Settings for specific objects will no longer be displayed here but have been moved to their respective settings screens. The System Settings screen will now only show options exclusive to Admins, making it easier for administrators to manage important configurations.
Purpose
+ To allow users to quickly configure settings on the corresponding screens for each object.
+ To help administrators easily manage important configurations on the System Settings screen.
6. Removing the User Guide feature from each module
Purpose
Detailed user guides for each object will be removed from the main interface to optimize display space for important tasks. When users need help, they can simply click on Avatar > User Guide to view all guides for all modules in a single location, making it easy to search and look up necessary information.
