2. The HR Management Digital Transformation Challenge for Coin98

Previously, Coin98 had attempted digital transformation. However, the results were not as expected. The reason was that each department used different software, leading to unsynchronized data and time-consuming processing.

  • Manual management of employee records and contracts: This made storing and searching for employee information difficult. When information was needed, HR staff had to spend a lot of time searching through Excel files.
  • Complex request processing workflow: Employees submitted leave/OT/business trip requests through one software, which were then exported and transferred to the C&B department for payroll calculation. This made the request processing workflow for employees complex and time-consuming.
  • Unsynchronized data: Asset management in the old software was not synchronized with the main HR system, leading to poor customer care. This made managing company assets difficult. To look up asset information, HR staff had to access two different systems, which was time-consuming and prone to errors.
  • Prone to errors in the approval stage: Manual document approvals, with no advanced storage or search tools. This caused delays in the company’s document approval process.
  • Tasks: The HR department has many repetitive tasks to perform and manage. Currently, the company assigns tasks through manual, unsynchronized tools, making it easy to miss tasks due to the use of multiple different apps. This made the HR department’s work inefficient.
