The pressing challenge of human resource management
When the company was first established, the number of employees was small, making HR management easy. However, with a scale of nearly 400 people today, plus the distribution across 5 offices both domestically and internationally (HCMC, Hanoi, Da Nang, Tokyo, and Osaka), timekeeping within the company became very time-consuming. At the end of each month, the number of requests was high, with some employees needing to submit dozens of leave applications (requests to leave early, arrive late, take paid leave, unpaid leave, work overtime, etc.). The company’s business scale was growing rapidly, leading to a manifold increase in the number of requests. Compiling timesheets required checking each request, each person, and each day, which was time-consuming. It could take a whole week, or even 10 days, just to handle the timesheet reconciliation process with employees. At the same time, storing paperwork and request forms was costly in terms of both office supplies (printing paper, folders, etc.) and storage space.
