AhaMove is a fairly large on-demand delivery application in Vietnam’s tech-based delivery market. After 5 years of formation and development, AhaMove has now become a familiar application for shop owners in major cities.

From telling growth figures

With a “hot” growth rate from telling numbers. In the first year, the average number of daily deliveries was 500 orders, then continuously surpassed milestones to 2,000 orders, 12,000 orders, 30,000 orders, and by 2019, it had increased to 60,000 orders/day. By early 2021, the number of orders had reached the 3 million orders/month mark.

To meet that demand, the number of drivers at AhaMove has now surpassed 100,000. With such a large number of shippers, shop owners rarely have to wait long for someone to accept an order. With this advantage in the number and speed of shippers, AhaMove has launched many more services to suit individual customer groups, which have been very well received. Currently, since the middle of last year, AhaMove has also begun to expand its coverage to major provinces and cities across the country such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai (Bien Hoa), Bac Ninh (Tu Son Town and Bac Ninh City), Hai Phong City, Da Nang, Can Tho, and has received great support from the people in these cities.

To applying digital transformation to office staff HR management

By 2020, despite the general difficulties for the entire market due to the prolonged and hard-to-control pandemic, AhaMove still achieved a growth rate of 150%. With such a rapid development pace, AhaMove faced the challenge of needing a management system strong enough to meet the demands of control and maintain a sustainable development trend.

AhaMove’s digital transformation in human resource management

AhaMove recognized that applying technology to work is an inevitable trend and necessity today, so human resource management activities could not stay outside this technological flow. For that reason, in November 2020, AhaMove turned to digital transformation to solve its human resource management challenges. According to Ms. Nguyen Kim Anh – Head of Human Resources: “AhaMove is a technology company that applies technology to develop its business. Therefore, among the countless companies/solutions/technologies for human resource management on the market today, AhaMove considered and chose a partner with similar thinking and perspectives on technology development to accompany them; while also prioritizing a Vietnamese company to always be proud of the technological development of the Vietnamese people. We decided to choose 1Office – a comprehensive enterprise management platform”.

Instead of traditionally managing information and operational processes that require a lot of paperwork, AhaMove has now applied technology to innovate, minimizing the waste of personnel’s time. This helps staff have more time to dedicate to research and development for their work and the company, rather than spending too much time on paperwork and procedures.

Information is stored completely and for a very long time, so based on that, looking up information and making decisions in human resource management becomes much easier and faster.

Digital Transformation: All benefits and no drawbacks yet

By applying technology to manage human resources, AhaMove hopes to accelerate the development of its apparatus while simultaneously enhancing personnel capacity, serving the nearest development goal of 50% growth this year. Looking further into the future, AhaMove expects to expand its coverage to more areas in Vietnam and also expand into the Southeast Asia region.

As for AhaMove’s advice to businesses undergoing digital transformation, Ms. Nguyen Kim Anh frankly shared: “From AhaMove’s experience, I believe businesses should digitally transform as soon as possible because this is the trend of human development.

Internally, it is not only a step in the company’s development but also helps save resources (financial, material, and human).

In terms of customer approach, customers today are generally very demanding and agile. If you cannot satisfy them in terms of speed, convenience, and price, they are ready to go to a competitor immediately. If you digitally transform, everything is faster, which saves time. Saving time saves human resources, and saving human resources helps reduce production costs, leading to lower prices. All benefits and no drawbacks yet.”
