Viet Uc Seafood – The leading corporation in Vietnam’s seafood industry. After 20 years of formation and development, through relentless effort, Viet Uc Seafood has risen to capture the number 1 market share for shrimp breeding in Vietnam.
With the mission of elevating Vietnamese shrimp in the global market, Viet Uc Seafood has continuously affirmed the brand image of Viet Uc shrimp in particular and Vietnamese shrimp in general. In addition, this leading seafood corporation has not hesitated to research and apply the world’s most advanced technologies to all segments of the closed-loop value chain of the shrimp industry.
Today, Viet Uc has made a strong mark in Vietnam with 18 companies under the Corporation and over 1000 hectares of total high-tech commercial shrimp farming area across 3 complexes.
In two decades of serving Vietnam’s seafood industry, Viet Uc is a rare corporation in the industry to achieve major international and domestic certifications: ASC, BAP, OIE, ISO 17025. 2. Viet Uc – The “headache” of manual management as resources grow
As a corporation with over 3,000 employees and numerous departments, as the scale of personnel, work, and customers increased, Viet Uc realized the operational management challenges that needed to be addressed.
Previously, all office-related matters were handled manually on paper without a system to consolidate them. This led to fragmented, unsynchronized data, and both management and staff spent a lot of time searching and tracking information.
With a large workforce and a high volume of documents, the process of submitting and approving paper forms, records, and emails was very time-consuming, leading to backlogs and overlapping work.
While Viet Uc Seafood had previously used management software to address these issues, the existing solutions were disjointed, making it difficult for the leadership to manage and grant approvals.
Upon recognizing these issues, Viet Uc Seafood quickly sought solutions, and the Board of Directors decided to adopt a comprehensive management software. 1Office was honored to be chosen by Viet Uc Seafood as a partner on their digital transformation journey.

3. Viet Uc Seafood Corporation Unites for Comprehensive Digital Transformation with 1Office
On December 1, 2023, after thoroughly understanding Viet Uc’s management challenges, 1Office began consulting and implementing the 1Office comprehensive management solution. Accordingly, 1Office deployed 3 modules within Viet Uc’s management system: the WORKPLACE module, the HRM module, and the CRM module.
WORKPLACE Module
With the WORKPLACE module, Viet Uc has built an automated, flexible, and fast workflow. The entire company staff now works on a single software, unlike before when only a few departments used it. Digital signing and document approval processes are now fully executed on the system, saving a significant amount of time and eliminating backlogs and overlapping work.
Viet Uc’s management can now more easily evaluate the efficiency and progress of each task performed by employees. After a period of using 1Office, the Viet Uc leadership assessed that the Workplace module has met most of their requirements and resolved nearly all issues in work management.
HRM Module
The HRM module solved a major challenge for Viet Uc as its workforce grew. All personnel data and records are now stored clearly and systematically. Managers and employees can track information anytime, anywhere, and search easily with just a few clicks, instead of sifting through manual paperwork as before.
Furthermore, the software’s information security features are also a reason Viet Uc trusts it to store a large volume of personnel data.
The HRM module is currently in use at Viet Uc, but its full potential has not yet been tapped. Therefore, in 2024, the Corporation plans to implement it more deeply to apply all of HRM’s features to optimize human resource management activities.
CRM Module
Currently, the two main features of the CRM module used by Viet Uc Seafood are: Purchase Management and Expense Management.
As a large corporation with many departments, digitizing and centralizing purchasing data has helped Viet Uc ensure complete data transfer. This also prevents data loss and inconsistencies in order quantities.
Additionally, the CRM module also supports the Corporation in managing expense approval processes and budgets clearly and transparently. It allows for real-time tracking of cash flow across various internal accounts, minimizing paperwork and approval times.
