Aiming for the goal of “becoming one of the 50 largest hair companies in the world” in the period from 2022 to 2027, Jenhair is focusing all its efforts on boosting production and investing in facilities to optimize resources. Currently, Jenhair owns one of the largest processing factories in Ninh Binh, with an operational capacity that can meet up to 50 tons of hair per year. Furthermore, Jenhair always believes that people are the most important asset, so the company is committed to providing adequate work and rest policies for its employees. The factory is expected by the company to become one of the best workplaces for laborers in Ninh Binh province.
To meet its comprehensive growth objectives, Jenhair needs to resolve existing bottlenecks in human resource management and work processes. Specifically, with the characteristics of a manufacturing enterprise, the workforce frequently has to work overtime and change shifts, leading to a dense and overlapping shift system, which is time-consuming for compiling leave requests and calculating payroll for employees.
Additionally, how to standardize processes and optimize operations for the production line to improve work efficiency and ensure timely supply for customers is another challenge Jenhair is facing. Previously, the company was still managing tasks and signing documents manually. Whenever a proposal or contract needed approval, departments had to report and send physical documents to the director for signing, causing time loss and information delays. Moreover, since the factory and the company office are located in two different provinces (Ninh Binh and Hanoi), it was very difficult for the management to grasp the production situation of the workers, not knowing which stage the production line was at or which personnel was in charge.
These issues were the driving force for Jenhair to carry out a comprehensive and thorough digital transformation, aiming to address the two biggest priorities in the company’s operational apparatus: optimizing work processes and the human resource management system.
