We sincerely apologize for the recent GPS timekeeping issue on the mobile application, which has affected your timekeeping process. We understand that this incident has caused significant inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding.
CAUSE
Recently, we updated the technology platform for the 1Office mobile app to fix some old bugs, such as:
- GPS location not updating in real-time.
- White screen error when the app is left in the system tray for too long.
The purpose of this update was to make the new version faster and resolve previous issues. However, for some phones running older iOS and Android operating systems, this has resulted in slow GPS acquisition, inability to use the application, or failure to perform GPS timekeeping.
SOLUTION
While waiting for the bug fix update, you can use the mobile web version to perform GPS timekeeping.
NEXT STEPS
Currently, we are working to fix the bug and update the new version for these devices. However, the update requires time for approval on the Google Play Store and App Store.
Additionally, we will provide an announcement and installation guide to support you as soon as the issue is resolved.
