With the goal of digital transformation by 2025, Hanoi aims to develop the capital into a green, smart, and modern city, striving to be among the top 5 localities in the country for digital transformation. In recent times, the capital’s government has defined an overall goal and 4 specific target groups for 2025 with a vision to 2030, including general goals for digital transformation; developing a digital government, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness; developing a digital government, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness; developing a digital economy to improve the economy’s competitiveness; and developing a digital society to narrow the digital divide.
As part of the series of activities towards this grand goal, the Hanoi 2022 Digital Transformation and Innovation Exhibition, chaired by the Hanoi People’s Committee and organized by the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, took place on December 10th and 11th. The event was open to the public free of charge at the Hanoi Museum.
Within the framework of the exhibition, many exciting activities took place, such as showcases and introductions of science and technology products, technology demonstrations, and scientific seminars on topics like: Digital transformation in state agencies, and the application of digital transformation and innovation. The event received special attention from leaders, central government officials, and distinguished guests. From the Ministry of Science and Technology, attendees included Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, and Mr. Chu Thuc Dat – Director of the Department of Local Science and Technology Development, Ministry of Science and Technology. From Hanoi City, the exhibition was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Hong Son – Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Chu Xuan Dung – Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Secretary of the Party Committee of the block of Universities and Colleges in Hanoi, along with many other distinguished guests and numerous visitors.
The exhibition featured 4 display areas introducing unique products and technologies with high scientific, technological, and commercial value, providing an opportunity to connect technology suppliers and demanders in the fields of information technology, digital transformation, and innovation.
