Ho Chi Minh City (July 22) and Hanoi (July 24, 2025) – The technology event 1Office Next was held at GEM Center and JW Marriott respectively, bringing together over 1500 business leaders and experts. The event marked a strategic transformation for 1Office: repositioning from a traditional SaaS platform to an AIaaS (AI as a Service) organization.

With the theme “Low-code is the heart – AI is the brain – Automation is the goal,” the event introduced a new operational mindset: where every CEO can build their business system as they envision it.

Experience a groundbreaking technology ecosystem in the AI era

At the event, over 1500 guests directly explored the 1Office technology ecosystem through a series of interactive activities. These included in-depth consulting sessions with digital transformation experts, and simulated scenarios of applying AI to optimize operational management,…

Notably, many CEOs experienced firsthand building an operational system – from human resource management to process handling, report setup, and more – with just drag-and-drop actions using Low-code technology combined with AI.

Many senior leaders actively engaged in discussions, sharing their perspectives on digital transformation strategies in the event’s open networking space. CEOs and CTOs showed a clear and growing interest in applying AI and Low-code to business administration.

A 10-year journey and the breakthrough named 1Office Next

In the opening session, a 1Office representative shared the company’s 10-year product development journey, from developing traditional HR software to the decision to rebuild the entire platform with a new direction.

According to the company representative, 1Office didn’t start from a passion for technology – but from desks buried in business processes, rigid Excel files that couldn’t be shared, and reports sent too late after leaders had already left the meeting room. The past 10 years have been a decade of software developers fully observing, empathizing with, and accompanying Vietnamese businesses.

But the further they went, the more they saw their own limitations: the old version of 1Office was becoming a pre-built system that businesses had to adapt to, rather than one that adapted to the business.

Furthermore, the dependency on IT or vendors to adjust processes or systems made it difficult for many CEOs to change strategies or operational methods in a timely manner. This created a clear gap between strategy and execution tools.

And so 1Office Next was born: Not as an upgrade, but to redefine the mindset of business operations. 1Office Next was developed to be a platform where every CEO can directly design how their organization operates.

With Low-code as the heart, AI as the brain, and automation as the destination, 1Office Next aims to accompany leaders as architects, designing their own operational systems for their organizations.

Strategy Announcement: 1Office transitions its operating model from SaaS to AIaaS

One of the event’s highlights was the announcement of the strategic shift in its business model from SaaS (Software as a Service) to AIaaS (AI as a Service). This is a new direction in the product development roadmap, with the goal of integrating artificial intelligence as a core component to support operations and decision-making in businesses.

Throughout the 1Office Next event, “pain point” was the keyword most frequently mentioned by the company’s leadership. Mr. Le Viet Thang shared that the obsession with every small customer pain point has been the driving force and differentiator that has secured 1Office’s position in the market.

After more than a decade of development, 1Office has served over 6,000 businesses with 500,000 users, helping to reshape the habits of Vietnamese businesses in using management software – from “owning software” to “renting a service,” from using disparate tools to an integrated platform, and from being hesitant to invest to daring to invest to optimize operations.

When Low-code is the heart, AI is the brain, and Automation is the goal

With the remarkable advancements in AI, human thinking is evolving to a higher form: imagination. 1Office is once again making a bet, aiming to use technology to liberate thinking and turn what business leaders imagine into operational reality.

Low-code Platform – Empowering CEOs to design how their business operates

Continuing the program, the Low-code Platform technology was demonstrated through a demo of building systems for processes, forms, applications, etc. The drag-and-drop demonstration of building operational applications without coding using Low-code received significant attention from attendees.

Everything was performed live on stage, clarifying the platform’s applicability for users without technical or programming expertise.

The “backbone” of this technology platform is Lowcode Studio – a platform that allows CEOs and managers to build their own business applications simply by dragging and dropping, with no programming knowledge required.

From CRM and task management to complex processes like onboarding, KPI approval, or customer care – everything can be personalized to match the way your business operates.

Key features of Lowcode Studio:

  • Create applications in just a few minutes
  • Design core data with Object Studio – intuitive and clear
  • Customize forms flexibly with drag-and-drop actions
  • Assign tasks based on business operations – personalize actions for each role
  • Design processing workflows with Workflow Studio – automation without code
  • Create real-time data analysis dashboards

More than just an application creation tool – Lowcode Studio is the “operational heart” of the modern enterprise: a place where CEOs can personally build the system they envision – instead of conforming to a pre-existing one.

AI Agents Library System – Digital Assistants for the Modern CEO

The AI Agent demonstration, combined with Holofan technology, simulated virtual CEOs making decisions in real-world scenarios. The 1Office AI Agents system showcased its ability to automatically set up operational processes, calculate salaries, assess employee performance, monitor KPIs, generate instant reports, and recommend actions.

The AI Agents were demonstrated in realistic simulation scenarios, allowing guests to directly observe the role of AI in a business environment, including:

  • 1AI Assistant is a virtual assistant for reminders and 24/7 query resolution;
  • 1AI Meeting automatically records meeting minutes, summarizes information, and notes directives from “the boss” to pass down to subordinates;
  • 1AI Talent acts as an HR manager, capable of reading and classifying CVs, evaluating potential candidates, and making hiring recommendations;
  • 1AI Salary helps calculate salaries, compile data, and collect and analyze personnel costs.

Additionally, guests also witnessed AI Agents with management functions, such as:

  • 1AI Monitor provides real-time work monitoring, issuing timely warnings if risks arise;
  • 1AI Performance helps measure and analyze achieved performance to suggest improvements;
  • 1AI Dashboard is responsible for data analysis, report compilation, and intuitive visualization, helping CEOs make quick decisions easily;
  • 1AI Process synthesizes and automates operational processes.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Viet Thang – Founder and CEO of 1Office, stated: “AI is not far-fetched. AI is right in front of the CEO. With 1Office Next, we believe that AI will be the second brain that helps CEOs operate their business exactly as they imagine.”

1AI Lowcode: The New Breakthrough Technology Super-Product for Operational Automation

The most notable technology at this event was the “Final Boss,” 1AI Lowcode – a solution that combines artificial intelligence (AI) and low-code technology. This is a combination that allows CEOs to create CRM applications, processes, dashboards, and more by conversing directly with AI using natural language.

1AI Lowcode enables CEOs and operations managers to build their own management software exactly as they envision it, without requiring any programming skills or knowledge. With just a single command, a CEO can request the system to automatically build operational management software, ready for immediate use.

With this technology, AI acts as a business analyst, capable of understanding requirement description documents, analyzing processes, and suggesting suitable setups. The system can automatically create forms, design processing flows, build database structures, and flexibly integrate with AI Agents that can self-adjust when changes occur.

Unlike a simple technology showcase, the Q&A session at the 1Office Next event was elevated to a strategic highlight, where business leaders brought real problems and real questions and received insightful answers from the product team.

Many “tough” questions were raised right in the auditorium, ranging from situations where businesses were at a standstill to doubts about the practicality of AI – Lowcode technology.

Each question was answered not just with words, but with the product and live demos, causing the audience to nod in agreement, pay close attention, and applaud multiple times after the presentation by the 1Office expert team.

The Q&A session also revealed many new perspectives: AI doesn’t replace humans but acts as a companion helping CEOs make faster, more accurate decisions. Lowcode is not an IT tool – but a new “operational language” for leaders.

It’s clear that the 1Office Next event not only introduced a new product but also laid the foundation for a new dialogue about the role of the CEO in the AI era. The CEO will no longer be just a commander, but will become a system architect working alongside AI and data.

Goal of Conquering the International Market, Bringing Foreign Currency to the Country

“1Office Next is not just the starting point for a new technology platform, but a milestone that liberates the mindset of business operations in the AI era,” shared CEO Le Viet Thang.

1Office not only aims to serve Vietnamese businesses but also strives for a greater mission: bringing the Vietnamese-made operating platform to the world. According to CEO Le Viet Thang, with the AI-as-a-Service model, the company expects to achieve a revenue of 120 billion VND in 2025 and 700 billion VND in 2030.

“Once we have a solid foothold in the domestic market, 1Office will go international – not just to compete, but to bring foreign currency back to the country,” Mr. Thang shared.

The roadmap has been clearly defined: AI will replace most technical tasks, helping people focus on thinking and creativity. Right now, 1Office’s AI has already taken on the role of consulting for customer groups with fewer than 30 employees, while also deeply integrating into operations, customer care, and internal HR processes.

With the belief that all businesses worldwide share common pain points in management, 1Office is determined that by solving the right problem, a Vietnamese product can absolutely become a global choice.
